2D and 3D models

A possibility to quickly obtain 3D CAD geometry for DeskProto is by buying and/or downloading one. Listed are a few on-line sources of 2D vector patterns (DXF files) and 3D geometry models (STL files).

Note that many geometry models are meant for rendering purposes, meaning that for model making the resolution will be quite low. When the polygons are visible in DeskProto, they will be clearly visible in the resulting model too.
