Hi I only can save files to .ncp and candle doesnot read these type of fles, Is the a way to save files to .nc?

Hi Sam,

The type of toolpath file that is saved depends on which machine you have selected in DeskProto. The selected machine defines which postprocessor is used, and the postprocessor sets the format and the file extension of the toolpaths file.

Have you selected the correct machine ? You can see that in the Project parameters (or on the first page of the wizard).

Thanks for your reply, Im very new and just got a 3018 pro Chines made to see how i would go, I had to set my machine manually since it wasn't listed in the software, It has a GRBL board and i set it like the screen shot attached.

All good I didn't released that i have to select my machine in Project parameters I was thinking when i created it it was automatically selected, all good now ,thanks
