![]() We have found that after upgrading a Win8 PC to Win8.1 two problems may appear: 1. DeskProto will refuse to start, showing an error message that the installation of DeskProto is corrupt (see the picture above). A re-install (simply download and install the trial version) will fix this. Sorry for this extra work. 2. The Windows update may have removed your high-end OpenGL compatible display driver to replace it by a Direct-X driver. DeskProto will tell you so by giving an OpenGL-warning. You will then need to again install the correct graphics driver. Use the Help-link on DeskProto's OpenGL warning to learn about these various driver types. Lex. |

I know the thread title says 8.1 but I wanted to add that this worked great after I "upgraded" to Windows 10. |
