I'd love to add a request for a future feature: allow each tool to have multiple speeds and feeds settings for multiple materials. It would make it simple, when setting up operations, to choose the cutter along with the material being cut so the proper speeds and feeds are setup (if a user has added them in the cutter library) automatically.

At the moment I just have a spreadsheet with a list of each cutter and the stepover, DOC, speeds, feeds, etc. listed. This works great, but adding them right to the program would be awesome.

Would it be an idea to solve this simply by creating different cutter definitions, like "Ballnose D6 for maple wood", "Ballnose D6 for perspex", etc ?.
A feature like you describe would somehow need to be filled with default values, and that is not possible as these values depend on the machine's capabilities. Apart from that we are careful with adding extra user interface: the more user interface, the more difficult the program is for novice users.

I totally agree that more options = more headaches. Your recommendation is definitely doable and easy using the "copy" function in the library of tools. Thanks!
