The DeskProto Hobby-license is back !
We promised you that the Hobby license would be back in DeskProto V 6.

a Hobby-license, so at a very low price (only for hobbyist users).
This offer comes with a free update to a V 6
Hobby-license later this year. The hobby license is available via
your reseller or via our webshop.

DeskProto V6 is almost ready for beta testing
The new DeskProto V 6.0 will contain exciting new features. A few highlights:
+ Multithreaded toolpath calculations, making DeskProto even faster
+ Completely new wizards, including roughing and finishing
+ No admin rights needed (so no UAC warnings), and Aero compatible
+ Faster graphics and faster file loading.
As the V6 development takes longer than expected
(sorry about that) we include a free update to V6
with every DeskProto V5 that is sold now.
We hope to soon start beta testing: please email if you want to participate.

Life-size model of a giant Fork-Lug, made using DeskProto
The latest project on the DeskProto Gallery is a presentation
model of giant (almost 2 m high) Fork-lug, used as
eye-catcher at a trade shown in Rio de Janeiro. The model has been
made by modelmaker PROTOway in Porcia (Italy), for
wire rope specialist Redaelli Tecna S.p.A. in
Milano. It has been machined in light foam, with a shock resistant
plastic coating on top.
