DeskProto is created with the idea to make Rapid Prototyping possible for
any 3D CAD-user, not only for the large companies with their large budgets. To make this possible prices start at a very low level.

This price is including all options, also the configurable postprocessor, and free email support: we do
not ask any annual maintenance fee.
All prices are in
Euros, excl VAT and shipment cost. The Checkout page of our
webshop will inform you about taxes and shipment. It will also show the price in
US Dollars at today's exchange rate.

An
educational license is a full-featured license: only the price is lower than for a commercial license. Even
much lower: educational discount on DP Full is 75%. Educational licenses are available only to
students,
teachers and
schools. A proof of status like a dated student ID card is required. An educational license may not be sold or transferred to another user.
For schools,
Lab licenses are available as well.

Using such Lab license the school may install DeskProto any number of PCs in the school's network, and run it max 25 PCs simultaneously. A special Network dongle makes sure that no more than 25 programs are running at the same moment.
A lowcost lab license is possible by just ordering one educational license for the teacher, and using free trial licenses for the students. Each student then can save his Project file (also once the trial period has expired) and send that to the teacher to create an NC toolpath file (not in V 4.2). So you can have your
complete classroom equipped with DeskProto Lite for
EUR 145.00 only!
(DeskProto Full EUR 248.00).
Upgrades and Updates can be bought at educational discount if the owner still qualifies for educational prices. If not, then an upgrade at commercial price will convert the license to a commercial license.
DeskProto V 5.0 Full will be delivered to you in a fine box, including a printed Tutorial teaching you how to use DeskProto in six lessons, a comprehensive Reference manual (PDF), a protection dongle, and a disk with a number of example geometry files.
For
DeskProto V 5.0 Lite and
DeskProto V 4.2 purchasing is completely Internet-based. After registration you receive an unlocking code to remove the 30 days trial protection from your software. The
Manuals can be downloaded in PDF format, a dongle is not needed.
