An educational license is a full-featured license: only the price is lower than for a commercial license. Even
much lower: educational discount is 75%. Educational licenses are available only to
students,
teachers and
schools. A proof of status like a dated student ID card is required. An educational license may not be sold or transferred to another user.
Upgrades and Updates can be bought at educational discount if the owner still qualifies for educational prices. If not, then an upgrade at commercial price will convert the license to a commercial license.

Using such Lab license the school may install DeskProto any number of PCs in the school's network, and run it max 25 PCs simultaneously. A special Network dongle makes sure that no more than 25 programs are running at the same moment.
DeskProto Full will be delivered to you in a fine box, including a tutorial teaching you how to use DeskProto in five lessons, a comprehensive reference manual, a protection dongle, and a disk with a number of example geometry files.
DeskProto Lite purchasing is completely Internet-based. After registration you receive an unlocking code to remove the 30 days trial protection from your software.
Manuals can be downloaded in PDF format, a dongle is not needed.
