A possibility to quickly obtain 3D CAD geometry for DeskProto is by buying and/or downloading one. Listed are a few on-line sources of 3D models.
Note that many models are meant for rendering purposes, meaning that for modelmaking the resolution will be quite low. When the polygons are visible in DeskProto, they will be clearly visible in the resulting model too.
